Westport has changed a bit over Blayney's 23 years but change is good. One thing that does not change is the great LIVE music at Blayney's.

This year owner Dick Schulte built the all new Blayney's Irish Tavern. This finally put a face to Blayney's name. With street visibility, great happy hour, better bathrooms and now great live music upstairs, Dick has done it once again.

Did I mention the summer deck that is 1800sq ft out back of Blayney's in which in the summer months you will be able to hear your favorite music in an outdoor setting on weekends only?

You never know who you might see at Blayney's either performing, working at or just plain having fun. The Moody Blues were once sitting on the deck listening to a great band. Robin Williams was caught telling jokes at a table. Al Jarreau listened all night to a band only to hire the bass player. Kevin Mahogony (International Jazz great) was once the doorman at Blayney's. Other names are too numerous to mention but Dick recalls this guy who wanted to sit in on an open Jam when Dick ask "Are you any good?" the man replied "I think so— I'm John Fogerty." and he put on a 45 minute show.

Dick just signed another 10 year lease so with help from all of you and just a little luck, Blayney's will remain the #1 Blues club in Westport.
